I can't believe it's not updated!
So! It's been...half a year since I updated this thing? Time for an update then, don't you think?
Let's see...I've been mostly jobless, I'm almost as broke as a bum, but life's good.
I have done close to nothing since the last update, apart from actually having a job a short period. The guy I worked for had to shut down shop, so yeah. Other than that, I haven't done much. Tried getting jobs and failed, mostly. So a few weeks back I decided to try to get back to school. I'm starting again come Fall, at NITH (www.nith.no/index.php/meny/in_english).
So yeah, that's pretty sweet. What else...not much, really. Enjoying the good weather that's finally come around and stuff. I'll try to update again in not too long.
Until then, ta-ta, tally-ho, etcetera...

Merry Christmas!
..and a Happy New Year, just in case I don't write anymore here until then. I haven't been writing in this thing for a while(agaaaiiin!), and I really don't have an excuse. Anyway..
Since last time, not much has happened. No job yet, although I hope that'll get better next year. And a few days ago my laptop died as well. Managed to get it back, though, but now it's running Linux. I have to say, I don't hate it! :o
And today is Christmas! At least, here in Norway. Had a nice, big dinner with the family, and then we went home and handed out presents. Today was a good day. :D
And tomorrow, I'll be heading back to my father to have a little celebration with him and my grandmother. That'll be nice too, I hope :o
Other than that, I'm not sure what's gonna happen. There's a rumor that on the 30th, there will be chances for a D&D session(which will be the last this year!), but I'm not getting my hopes up..too much.
So yeah..I think that's it, really. I won't go on a "whooo, lookit mah gifts!" rant, as I didn't get that much. But it's not the presents that's important, it's the thought behind them. Or something like that.

O hay!
Okay, obligatory post-LAN/D&D update time!
Yup, this weekend me and some friends got together for some gaming(can you say "GEEEEEEK"?). We didn't really get to play as much games over LAN as we'd like, and I'm partially to blame. I was busy playing Fallout 3....surprised? Thought not. We DID get to play as much D&D as we'd hoped to, though. It was quite awesome.
Aaaand yes. I has Fallout 3. I've had it for a little while now. I bought it on the release date, as well. Lucky me!

Back!
Yeah, I am. Apparently.
Anyways, I had fun. In the morbid kinda way, of course. Got up fairly early, went to get the cow we were supposed to cut, and then went to the place we were gonna do it.
And then, well..the slicing commenced. Not really that much to say about it, I guess.
So have a pic, instead:
Of course, that's not showing the table where the bigger pieces were neatly cut up into smaller ones(of which the latter is on the table in the pic). I was put on, uhm.."small cutting" duty, I guess you could call it. My job consisted of cutting away some of the fat and stuff from the smaller pieces, which was then later put in a grinder.
And Teric, I am sorry to disappoint you: I HAD to go the whole nine yards and eat a piece of the meat. I mean..it was just THERE! Taunting me!
Anyway, it was fun and interesting. I even got some meat for the job(other than the small piece I ate on location). It was 4 kilograms of that grinder-meat thingy, and about 2 more kilos of beef meat, I think. My mom's gonna be all "WHEEE!" when I bring it with me next time I visit.
On another note, my friend showed me these really awesome books he's got. They're written by a guy named Jim Butcher(how convenient..), and they're called The Dresden Files as far as I can tell.
The plot revolves around a guy called Harry Dresden, a wizard living in Chicago(and, in his own words, "The only one in the yellow pages"). I really like them. I read the first book in the series this weekend, and borrowed the second book.

Going away for the weekend

This weekend I'll not be around on teh 'nets. The reason is that I'm going to be helping a friend and his parents, uhm.."slicing and dicing" a cow or two @_@

I LIVE!!
Riiiight.....
Yeah, I disappeared from this place(again!). Not really sure why, actually. It seems I have no real excuse, considering I've not had anything to do the last few months.
...other than looking around for work, that is. And it's not really a big surprise I'm having a hard time finding a place that wants to hire me, since I don't have any previous experience. Oh well, I'm hoping Lady Luck hasn't abandoned me yet. Or that my karma account isn't empty yet.
So what exactly has happened with me lately?
Uhm...I got myself a new PC for my birthday(9th of August, in case you wondered)! It's a pretty decent gaming rig. None of that stock crap(although at this moment, I don't remember the specs for it), and I built it myself. So I finally got around to playing BioShock, which was pretty fun. I've also played Crysis, and that was cool.
And of course I've gotten myself a nice lil' copy of Team Fortress 2! Awesomest multiplayer game evar! It seems some of my sniper skills transferred from the original TF and to this, but I still needed(and need) some work to get where I was in the original. I also discovered I'm a decent demo.
...aaand now I miss my gaming rig again(writing this on my old, crappy laptop, at my mom's place).
Anyways, if you should feel compelled to do so, you can ask me for my Steam name, if you don't already have it...of course.
Right...I think that's it for now. I SWEAR, I'll be a good boy and update this thing more often now that I've got time...if I suddenly go POOF again, just poke me with a stick or something.

And I'm back :O
Okay, after a week without internet at a cabin in the middle of a forest, I'm finally back!
As I expected, games were played and D&D sessions were had. Fresh air and exercise, on the other hand, was not. And that pretty much sums the week up. Contrary to how it might sound, it was most excellent! *airguitar solo*

Oh, I might also get back to writing soon! Suddenly got a few new ideas, so we'll see how that goes...

Going away for a week :O
Okay, as of tomorrow I'll be without internet connection for about a week. The reason is that me and some friends are gonna go to a cabin thingie and have fun there. LAN, D&D and that kinda stuff is going to keep me alive, but I'm gonna miss my tubes D:
Anyways, I'll see you all later or something. If there's anything that you really need to tell me, you have today to do it. Or send me a mail, and I'll check it out when I get back. Or something.

SUMMER!
Yes, summer is finally here again! School's out, the weather is kinda good, and I R happeh!
Thought I should update this thing again before I go on and disappear from the nets. For how long I don't know, but it's probably not gonna be ages before I'm back. Today, I'm leaving for that camping place thingie I've told you guys about way back when, and I'm staying there for a few days.
And, on the 7th of Juli I think it was, I'm leaving the nets again for a week. The reason is that me and some friends are going to a cabin somewhere in Sweden. LAN gaming, D&D and beer drinking ensues, and with that follows lots of fun :D

WHOOP! There goes the neighbourhood!
Okay, update again!
Okay, my friends and I had LOADS of fun. Like, really! First night, we show up at the party and chill a bit with some beer, and then more friends show up and we party like mad. Jump around, dance, drink more, dance again, more beer and so on.
And when it all was over, we figured we'd get home. We never did get home. Instead, we camped at a subway station. Like REALLY camping. We lit up a fire in one of those barrel-thingies to stay warm, and then found something we could use as temporary mattresses. So there we were, 6 or 7 of us, on a subway station with a fire. And then, after thirty minutes or an hour, suddenly this girl we don't know comes up and joins us.
And then she begins getting cold, and decides to huddle together with us for warmth. It was pretty epic, even though it didn't end up in hot, steamy, drunken sex ;P
The second night was just as epic as the other at the party, if not better. Met up with the same friends from last night, and got a nice buzz going. There was a little while where we got separated, but we found each other again thanks to cellphones. And then, we danced and relaxed almost at the same time. You'd think I was tripping on some kinda drug the way I was jumping around, but I can assure you, I was not.
Okay, that's about it I guess. I didn't get a hangover, but I AM feeling a bit tired. It'll pass once I get something to drink without alcohol.

Yeah, I guess it can.
Alright, what's happened since last time..not much, to be honest. I've been my normal, lazy self, only now I have some good weather to do it in(the bitter irony: I spend my lazy time inside).
I have been writing _nothing_ on any of my stories, and I'm beginning to think that they're actually decaying slowly..oh well, no harm done, amirite?
Also, this weekend(Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th) there's this big party I'm planning to attend. The occasion is that soon, I will be what is known here in Norway as "russ". Read more about that here. In short, it's a celebration of finally being done with school. Drinking, partying and having lots of fun are keywords here.
That's about it. Not sure when I'll update this thing again, but hopefully I'll be sober enough to get some update-thing up here on Sunday...maybe <.

Oohh, damn...
Alright, the usual "I-feel-like-shit-and-feel-like-writing-on-LJ" rant coming up, so just skip it if you don't wanna read stuff like that...
Okay, anyways, I'm just gonna make it short.
Tomorrow I'm going to court about that robbery that took place last year(lol, yeah, last year...as in "before New Years Eve").
...and I feel like crap. I'm really nervous. I've probably been watching too much TV and movies and shit, but it's not the actual hearing or whatever I'm worried about. It's what'll happen after that. Like, with "revenge" and shit from the guys who opened a can of fuck on me.
So yeah. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Come on, that's not gonna happen, you'll be fine" etc. Only problem is that life has made me into depressed, and now slightly paranoid little piece of crap. And while I don't hope for shit to hit the fan, life has ALSO thought me to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Okay, the depressing crap cuts now. If you read this thing through, cool. If you didn't, and for some strange reason decided to read this, cool. I'm gonna just stop here, because just talking about it gets me more worked up.

Back like a bad case of herpes!
Once again, I managed to disappear from this place. I'll blame it on school and laziness, but you have all heard that one before, right?
Anyways, not much has really happened. It's what's GOING to happen that's interesting. Read on!
This Sunday I'm going to Dublin for a week. That's nice. Even better, I'll get to celebrate St. Patrick's day there. St. Patty's, in Dublin! Oh yeah, envy me ;P
Also, the Wednesday after the holidays, I'm going to court. The occasion is that robbery that took place way back when, and needless to say, I'm a bit nervous. Nothing I can't handle, tho...I hope :O
AND, I'm gonna start writing again! Yes, I know, you don't believe me. No wonder. Sadly, I've hit a bad case of writer's block, and haven't been able to get anything of interest down on paper. It sucks just about as much as a vacuum cleaner...
But one of these days I'm gonna open Word, and force myself to write something. Hopefully I'll get something going in not too long.
That's it for now! And don't worry about me updating this thing. With the trip to Dublin coming up, I'll have a lot of thing to write I guess. The rooms at the hotel even has tubes, so I might bring my laptop with me!

Yeah, I've managed once more to neglect this thing for way longer than I should. My apologies.
Also, I'll have to apologize for not having written ANYTHING AT ALL. Nothing. Nada. School has been(and still is) a real bitch, and leaves me pretty much exhausted after each day. That means I get home from school, eat dinner, and can only be arsed to sit down and relax. Sorry for being overly lazy, but that's how I am. I PROMISE, however, that I will at least TRY to get some writing done during the vacation after next week.

Y HALLO THAR!
I'm still alive, all. Just took a break, kinda...
Anyways, I DO make progress on the story, it's only very slow. And to keep you interested, here's a preview from chapter one:
Ryan walked along the streets, smoking the first cigarette from the new pack he just got. He found himself smirking over his luck, finding that convenience store a few blocks back. As he approached the police station, he got this nagging feeling that something was wrong. He had felt it once before, and he sighed and shook his head slowly as he turned to face the building.
“Christ, this is just great.” He grumbled and inhaled from the cigarette. “Can’t even smoke in peace, can I?”
He flicked the remaining half of the cigarette into a small puddle, and slowly walked inside the station. As Ryan entered, an officer behind the counter looked up at him.
“Can I help you, Sir?” The lioness asked in a gentle manner. Ryan smirked a bit and looked at her. She was definitely in the wrong job, wasting her firm, curvy body sitting behind a counter. He pulled his mind out from the gutter somewhat reluctant, and nodded slowly.

Woohoo! My laptop!!
YES! YES!! YESYESYESYES!!!!
I got my laptop back! Not just a similar model, but the EXACT same! MY laptop! And better yet, NOTHING is gone! Every file that was on the laptop when it got stolen is there. This means I am happy, and I can resume writing on my stories(yes, my stories were what I was most worried about, even though they might not be that good;P).

My nose is much better, and it has now resumed it's former functions. I can breathe through it, and I'll be able to sleep, drink and eat normally again. w00t!
I'm going to see the doc again on Monday, so that they can figure out if I need an operation or sumthin'. Hopefully I'll be okay without...
